Silent by Design

Enjoy truly silent cooling under light workloads with 0dB Ambient Cooling technology. In the Silent operating mode, the cooling system switches off all fans during everyday tasks to dissipate heat passively. This lets you concentrate on your work and immerse yourself in movies with less distraction. If CPU or GPU temperatures increase, the fans automatically switch on again.

Liquid metal compound from Thermal Grizzly reduces CPU temperatures by up to 13°C compared to standard thermal paste. Our 84 blade Arc Flow fans vary in thickness from base to tip to maximise airflow, capped by a special aerodynamic wave pattern that minimises turbulence and noise. With 0dB Technology, the fans switch off completely when CPU and GPU temperatures drop below 50°C in the Silent operating mode for truly inaudible cooling under light workloads.

Keeping the heatsinks free of dust and debris is critical to maintaining optimal thermal dissipation. Dust filters help keep gunk away from the fan blades, heatsink fins, and other cooling components to prevent build-up over time, increasing stability and reliability.

0.1mm Ultra-Thin Fins for the Win

Thermal energy is dissipated by four heatsinks in the flanks. Each one is lined with ultra-thin fins as slim as 0.1mm, allowing higher density and lower air resistance than typical fins. 256 heatsink fins totalling 103,385.5mm² of surface area guide airflow in multiple directions and minimise interference from the ErgoLift design.

Prismatic Shine

The asymmetrical dot matrix design on the lid is made up of 8279 perfectly spaced holes, with a prismatic film that lets the machine shine from any angle.

Cosmic Colour Tones

Inspired by sunlight hitting the space stations in ROG SAGA, the G16's nameplate is printed with Nanoimprint Lithography to give a subtle holographic effect.
